Richard Morrell

Born in England, Richard studied glass at Stourbridge. He graduated in 1976, he then emigrated to Australia to take up a position at CIT (since named Monash Uni) in Melbourne.

He established his studio in 1996 in Castlemaine, Victoria. His current work is in spin casting process. This work was initiated in Bali, when he was invited to set up a glass blowing facility at Jenggala Keramik.

Richard hot poured kiln castings are in major private and public collections and he has been a finalist multiple times in the Ranamok Glass Prize.

Richard uses his glass making techniques to provide specialists urns at Urns for Ashes.
